Som Bahadur Shrestha

Mr. Som Bahadur Shrestha was born and grew up in Nuwakot district located in Langtang Himalayan region, central parts of Nepal. He has been working in the tourism field since 2005. He is well experienced and has wide knowledge about trekking, tours and peak climbing in Nepal. Initially, Mr Som has been working as a field staff and involved in many different nature trekking and tour activities.

During the course of time, he gained a wide knowledge about tourism in Nepal. After years of experience in outdoor activities, he became a professional guide. He participated in the Trekking guide training course organized by the Ministry of Tourism in 2008. Mr. Shrestha graduated in Bachelor of Business Studies from Tribhuwan University of Nepal. He also visited Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and some parts of Slovenia to know better guiding skills. He has been participating in skill development training and environmental awareness program organized by different organizations including community development foundation.
