Shreeram is a local in Kathmandu and we were so lucky to come across his whatsapp number online. We spent a long time looking up different treks that were all ridiculously overpriced and organised by bigger tour companies outside of Nepal. Once we had Shreerams details, we were able to communicate with him directly over 2 weeks whilst we were still travelling India. He answered all the questions we had about the different treks, our budget and timeframe. No money was exchanged before meeting with him, everything was priced reasonably and he helped us get our gear sorted and phones set up before we left – you can rent trekking gear and it’s cheaper if you are with a local. Very organised and great service.

Now for our guide and porter. Sabin was our guide and spoke very good English (regardless of what he thinks haha). He’s very considerate of other people and knowledgable about his country and the treks all around. He’s from a town close by to the Langtang valley trek and gave us a lot of information about the area, before and after the devastating earthquake in 2015. He treks with ease and will take care of you if you are unwell or injured – recieved massages on rest breaks for my injured leg and he offered to take my bag on numerous occasions.

Des was our porter. He carried everything we couldn’t fit in our day bags, which was more than we’d wanted him to carry. He honestly still could’ve trekked in half the amount of time if he wanted to, he is so fast. Des doesn’t speak much English but he is smiling every step of the way and even broke into dance when he’d manage to get ahead of us and have a rest.

The langtang valley trek itself was amazing. It was hard because I injured myself but the overall experience made it worth it. There is such a mix of trekkers on this trail, it’s really motivating. From families to a group of birdwatchers in their 60’s and 70’s, it really is a trek for everyone as long as you can go at your own pace. With Shreeram’s tour, we went as fast or slow as we wished and enjoyed it so much more than if we were in a big group.

We just finished the Langtang Valley trek with NTH. What an outstanding trip! From airport pickup to drop off, everything was carefully planned and accommodated. Ram is attentive and caring, making sure everyone is looked after. Before the trip, details were relayed and communication excellent. Sightseeing around Kathmandu, travel to Langtang, the trek, summitting Tserko Ri, everything planned out and arranged. He knows all the towns and areas; where to get food, best places to stay, making the entire experience no stress. Group members had different paces, and Ram made sure each person made their way safely. Our group had zero complaints, and will be repeat customers next time we are back for a different trek. Don’t hesitate, this is the one – just go for it.

I can’t say enough good things about this private tour in Kathmandu with Shreeram. The experience was already incredible—the cultural insights, the beautiful sites, and the guide’s deep knowledge of the city—but what truly set this tour apart was the compassion and professionalism shown when I unexpectedly had a medical emergency.

My guide reacted instantly and calmly, helping me get the care I needed without hesitation. Shreeram stayed by my side, communicated clearly with medical staff, and made sure I felt safe and supported the entire time. Traveling can be unpredictable, and in a moment when I felt vulnerable, he went far beyond what anyone could expect from a tour guide.

Because of Shreeram’s, quick thinking, and genuine concern, what could have been a frightening situation became manageable and reassuring. I’m deeply grateful.

My partner and I are from the USA, and we hiked the Manaslu trek with Nepal Trek Hub. We had the most amazing time!! We were super well taken care of and learned so much about Nepal while on our trek from our guide—whether it was the mountains, the flora, or the culture. A fantastic family trek to Lang Tang with Nepal Trek Hub in April 2026. Shreeram and his team did a great job throughout, starting with Shreeram’s communication in the weeks leading up to the trek, and then his support on arrival, including a half day in Thamel to arrange the various items we needed for the trek. Our driver to and from Lang Tang was exceptional (given the state of the roads this is really important!). Then we were in the hands of our guide Navaraj and porters Dhawendra & Mingma. All did a fantastic job; one of our party got sick on the way and so Navaraj had to adjust the schedule multiple times to accommodate all of us. This he did with empathy and good humor. The trek itself was spectacular, not least with the 30cm of fresh Spring snowfall that fell while we were in Kyangjim. I would definitely use Shreeram and his team again for future treks in Nepal.

We had an amazing experience with this company during our Manaslu Trek. Everything was perfectly organized and the communication before and during the trek was always smooth, professional, and reliable.

What we really appreciated was the flexibility. Everything could be arranged very spontaneously and adapted to our needs. Sheeram even organized to send a backpack to Pokhara for us, which helped us a lot.

Our guide, Dhurba, was absolutely fantastic. We always felt safe with him. He managed and organized everything perfectly, explained a lot, answered all our questions, and was always there for us. He also adjusted the trek according to the weather and our condition, which made a huge difference.

Thanks to him, we made it safely over the pass and had an unforgettable experience.

I went with Nepal Trek Hub on the Lang Tang Valley trek. We were out for eight days. The trek was strenuous for me as I am a 77 year old American guy with aging knees. But thanks to the efforts of my guides Ram and Dhurba, I made it up to Kyanjin Gompa and back without any issues. The guides and porters on our trip were a great group to hang out with on the trail and in the mountain hotels at the end of the day. The experience was more than a hike. I learned about the specific history and cultural of the Lang Tang Valley. Saw mountain sheep, yaks, monkey, deer,many birds. What I enjoyed most seeing was the colorful clothing of the Tamang and Tibet locals. I you want a well organized trip where you are looked after, I highly recommend Nepal Trek Hub.

We did the 12 day Manaslu Circuit with our guide, Dhurba, and porter, Ram, and had the best time! Everything was organized by the owner at Nepal Trek Hub, who we met with when we arrived in Kathmandu to go over all the details. All our meals and accommodations on the trek were included and they even picked us up from the airport when we arrived to take us to our hotel. Luckily we engaged Nepal Trek Hub as for our Mardi Himal Trekking trip. We enjoyed the trip with tour guide of much patient to guide us along the trek.

We appreciate the agency assistance when we encounter illness at 2800m at Annapurna region. The tour agency arranged for emergency evacuation with helicopter rescue to Kathmandu ERA International Hospital.

The tour was very well organized and flexible when we had special requests. We hiked to ABC while there was abundant smog in Pokhara and still had some great views once we got further back into the mountains. Our guide Shreeram and porter Arun took good care of us ! While you can do this hike on your own, booking accomodations and finding places to stay during peak season are difficult without a guide.
