Mardi Himal trek one of the short and easy trek in Annapurna Region

Mardi Himal trek 7 days is a newly opened trekking route in 2012 in Annapurna Region Of Nepal. Mardi Himal trekking has been very renowned among trekkers in a short span of time. It is also a trek through the ridge of Modi River on the other side of Annapurna Base camp trek trail. This is a very short and sweet trek route that allows trekkers to enjoy everything within a short period of time. Located in the Elevation of 4500 Meter, is a great viewpoint to see the Annapurna Himalayan range. You can see Annapurna South, Hinchuli very near to you. Another mountain such as Fishtail, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna and many other peaks is perfectly visible from this point. The most important thing about the Mardi Himal trek is you are very close to Mt.Fishtail 6997 Meter.

The 6-7 Days Mardi Himal trek is generally started from Phedi an hour drive from Pokhara. Then climb the hill called Dhampus, subsequently, the trail climbs slowly to Pothana then Deurali. Staying here overnight in Deurali the next day you go to Forest camp. A nice place to relax in the middle of the forest where the 4-5 trails from different side join here. Crossing the forest you reach Low Camp where you will meet another trail that climbs through Sidding. From here if the weather is very good you can see Mt.Fishtail. Walking further 1 hour you will reach the Badaldanda a nice viewpoint of the mountain range can be seen from here. Most of the mountain we can see from here. Now you walk through the ridge of the mountain, you can see both sides down the valley from here. One side is Annapurna base camp trail another side is Mardi Himal river valley. Your last camp is High Camp which has an elevation of 3500 Meter and takes just about 3 hours from Badaldanda. A high camp is a place where you stop your hiking. Next day early in the morning you hike to Base camp then return back.

Langtang Trek

Rated 5 out of 5
December 22, 2022

Shreeram is a local in Kathmandu and we were so lucky to come across his whatsapp number online. We spent a long time looking up different treks that were all ridiculously overpriced and organised by bigger tour companies outside of Nepal (mainly from USA and all $800-$1500USD/Person).. Once we had Shreerams details, we were able to communicate with him directly over 2 weeks whilst we were still travelling India. He answered all the questions we had about the different treks, our budget and timeframe. No money was exchanged before meeting with him, everything was priced reasonably and he helped us get our gear sorted and phones set up before we left – you can rent trekking gear and it’s cheaper if you are with a local. Very organised and great service.

Now for our guide and porter. Sabin was our guide and spoke very good English (regardless of what he thinks haha). He’s very considerate of other people and knowledgable about his country and the treks all around. He’s from a town close by to the Langtang valley trek and gave us a lot of information about the area, before and after the devastating earthquake in 2015. He treks with ease and will take care of you if you are unwell or injured – recieved massages on rest breaks for my injured leg and he offered to take my bag on numerous occasions.

Des was our porter. He carried everything we couldn’t fit in our day bags, which was more than we’d wanted him to carry. He honestly still could’ve trekked in half the amount of time if he wanted to, he is so fast. Des doesn’t speak much English but he is smiling every step of the way and even broke into dance when he’d manage to get ahead of us and have a rest.

The langtang valley trek itself was amazing. It was hard because I injured myself but the overall experience made it worth it. There is such a mix of trekkers on this trail, it’s really motivating. From families to a group of birdwatchers in their 60’s and 70’s, it really is a trek for everyone as long as you can go at your own pace. With Shreeram’s tour, we went as fast or slow as we wished and enjoyed it so much more than if we were in a big group.

Stunning Langtang Trek Hiking

Rated 5 out of 5
May 10, 2023

Langtang trek is worth a trip. Changing landscape every day, nice guest houses, local food and an amazing view at one of the top peaks at 5000m.

The guide was very good. Good English and was able to talk about nature, the history, local life, tips to eat and we had a good team spirit.

The porter was amazing, too.

Actually, it went to a once-in-a-livetime-event.

Can definitely recommend it!

Great Annapurna Trek, lifetime experience

Rated 5 out of 5
January 29, 2023

I booked a 10-day trek around the Annapurna region with Nepal Trek Hub. From the beginning of Communication, I was asking so many questions regarding Annapurna Trek. Every time I got my answer so quickly. Shreeram was the best man to solve each and every query regarding this Annapurna Trek. I had so much information regarding the Annapurna Trekking so I was well prepared regarding types of equipment and gear. On arrival, Shreeram Pick Up me from the airport. We had a nice conversation in hotel regarding my trip. My Guide Rajesh was there to meet me and afterwards, rajesh took care of everything. He was hero of my trip not only as a guide but also as a friend. As I am alone I was frightened that I could be board but that thing did not happen to me as Rajesh was so funny

Being single it is hard to get the accommodation in Annapurna as I understood myself, but my guide managed me super accommodation everyday. We were doing Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Annapurna Base Camp. As my guide was Encyclopedia, I understood many things regarding Nepal such as how Nepal formed. What is its history? What are the culture and ethnicity? Language, politics, rural life and many other things that other travellers do not care about.

I was so lucky in terms of weather because from the start of my trek to end, it was crystal clear weather so I saw many mountains, terrains and landscapes. It was also good to see the rhododendron flowers blooming in the forest. I enjoyed the mesmerizing view of the Forest and mountains.

I saw Mt.Annapurna, Mt Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, Fishtail mountain and many other beautiful peaks around the region. It was quite narrow valley but the scenery was amazing itself plus I got more impression that the local porters were carrying 60-70 kg easily in baskets to the hotel’s supplies. And the more interesting thing is they were in flip-flops.

Overall, my experience with Nepal Trek Hub was super. They were kind and helpful as well as very professional in their profession. They are about the client’s need and what they want. They were also very happy to customize the trip even in office or in Trip as well. I can recommend to anyone who is going to Nepal for any trip.

I used Nepal Trek Hub for my Three Passes Trek. My two friends and I did the trek on our own (no tour group) but Nepal Trek Hub provided a Porter Cum Guide.
