  • 8.00 AM: Pick Up and drive to Pashupatinath

    Kathmandu transit tour begins after we pick up you from the hotel then drive to the Pashupatinath temple, You will take the entrance ticket from the Tilganga side and enter into the Pashupatinath temple seeing one of the oldest sculptures of the Lord Vishnu which is around the 1600 years old. There are many shops before you reach the bank of the Bagmati River from where you can see the Main shrines Pashupatinath temple along with many other temples.

    Firstly, you will see the dead body burning. According to the Hindu cultures, they burn the dead body after they die in holy places like the Pashupatinath. That is the reason you see a lot of the dead body burning here. Our guide will describe the many things when you are in Pashupatinath temple. You will see 4 Ghat and the main entrance of the Pashupatinath temple. Inside the Pashupatinath temple, only Hindu people can go. When you go to the top of the Bagmati River on the viewpoints from there you can see all of the temple areas. We give you an overwhelming briefing if you need it, otherwise, we tell you in a very short cut. After Pashupatinath temple, you will climb to the hill and down to the other side of the river where the vehicle will be waiting for us.

  • 11.00 AM: Boudhanath stupa

    Drive to the Boudhanath stupa. This is another highlighted place to see Buddhism and the monasteries around the Stupa. The oldest stupa is one of the highest stupa standing on the height of 136 feet tall with a diameter of 156 feet on octagonal shapes. You will see the many groves and the prayer wheels which can be rolled by the devotees in the morning and evening time mainly, but you can roll it any time as you are there. Many other monasteries are there around with the Azima temples on the side. Once we visit the stupa it will be time for you to have something for your launch before you move to Swayambhunath.

  • 1.30 PM: Drive to Swayambhunath

    Drive to Swayambhunath and enter from the money throwing pond from the left side where you will see the massive bells along with the Basabandhu stupa. Climbing to the top of the stupa you can see the multiple chaityas on the yards of the stupa. The highlighted one is the massive sculptures of the Dipankara Buddha and the stupa itself. It is small in size but built with the same aspects as Boudhanath stupa.

  • 3.00 AM: Drive to Kathmandu durbar square

    Drive to Kathmandu durbar square and sightseeing in Kathmandu durbar square, you would see the ongoing construction of the Kasthamandap temple, Vishnu Temple, Kal Bhairav temple, Sweet Bhairav temple, Taleju temple and many other temples around the Kathmandu durbar square. You will see the best examples of the wood carving and stone carving on the Kathmandu durbar square. In the main courtyard, you will also see the royal family photos and the things that the royal family used. There are museums also to see. At 4: PM you can see the living goddess Kumari blessing the public people.
