Kathmandu Pokhara Tour 5 nights 6 days itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport.

    Nepal Trek hub’s airport representative will be at Tribhuvan international airport, we will be there to welcome you with a private vehicle then together we will go to Hotel and talk about the plan more.

  • Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley

    Nepal Trek Hub’s guide would be there in your hotel early in the morning. We recommend you to have breakfast as early as you can because today we are going to see the 4 world heritage sites which are described down below.


    Pashupatinath temple

    It is a sacred Hindu holy temple. Millions of Hindu devotees visit each year to be blessed by the Hindu’s greatest god Lord shiva. Indian and Nepali devotees come here mostly. Travellers can understand how Hindus are performing their dead cemetery and their rituals work. There are many temples such as a Bishnu Temple and other deities temples. There are numerous things to see in Pashupatinath.


    Boudhanath stupa :

    This is the big stupa located in the middle of the Kathmandu city which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Thousand of Tibetan Buddhist people visit this stupa. This used to be a trade route point between Nepal and Tibet. It is a rounded stupa with a massive height. They said that there are relics of Kashyap Buddha on the bottom of the stupa.


    Swayambhunath stupa:

    Located on the top of a hillock from where you can see the view of Kathmandu perfectly. They believe that this stupa was built by the greatest monks from the China Manjushree. There are many things to see in Swayambhunath such as Basabandhu Stupa, Santi Bihar, Anantapur, Pratappur, Harati Mata temple and more importantly Swayambhunath stupa itself.


    Kathmandu Durbar Square

    Kathmandu durbar square is the historical landmark of Kathmandu valley. This is a place to learn how the Kathmandu used to be ruled and Whole Nepal. After the unification of whole Nepal, it was the place from where Nepal used to be ruled for a long time before they made the NarayanHiti Royal palace. Living Goddess Kumari is the main attraction of Kathmandu durbar square.

  • Day 03: Drive or Fly To Pokhara

    Our Guide will be at your hotel to pick you up for the Airport or Buspark. Depending on your plan we take you to the Pokhara. If you take the flights then it takes about 30 minutes to reach Pokhara while other options (tourist bus) take about 8 hours. After you check in your hotel, we will go for a short walk around the lakeside from where you can see the mountains as well as the best view of the Phewa lake.

  • Day 04:Pokhara Tour

    Early in the morning around 5.30 O’clock, we go to Sarangkot for the Sunrise view, you can see the amazing view of Annapurna range and sunrise over the Himalayas. There are numerous peaks in a row. The most highlighted one is Mt. Fishtail 6,993 Meter. You can see the Pokhara very clearly from here.
    Back at the hotel having breakfast, we go to World peace pagoda, to see the view of Himalayas and lake together, you can see the Pokhara city very clearly from here.
    After that, we go to see the Tibetan refugee camp where you can see how Tibetan people are knitting the hand carpet and other handicraft things. Then we go to see the Davis Falls as well as Gupteshwor Cave. both sites are just in front of each other.
    The last destination for today is the International mountain museum, where you can see the mountain culture, traditions and customs of the people around Nepal and other countries. You can also see the documentary show here.
    There are many things that you can do in Pokhara such as Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Zip Line flying, small hiking around Pokhara, Mahendra cave, rafting and many more activities.

  • Day 05: Fly back to Kathmandu and drive to Patan for sightseeing.
