Everest High Pass Trek or Everest Three Passes Trek is an adventure trek for trekkers who are seeking to do something thrilling hiking in the Everest region of Nepal for 3 weeks. The Everest High Pass trek goes through the high elevated pass which is why it is the Everest High Pass trek. There are three passes that you cross while doing this trek. They are respectively Renjo La Pass (5,340m/17,520ft), Kongma La Pass (5,535/18,159ft) and Cho La Pass (5420m/17,782ft). During the trek, you will step on the Everest base camp, Khumbu region, Gokyo Lake, Gokyo ri and many other highlighted places. More importantly, we can tell that by doing the Everest high passes trek you will explore all touristic parts of Khumbu. It is also a great chance to explore the most spectacular and diversified landscape and sky-touching snow-capped peaks.

The adventurous Everest high pass trek begins after the scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport. The airport is one of the attractive things in Khumbu elevated at the altitude of 2800 Meter and the gateway to Everest. You will trek inside the Word heritage Sagarmatha National park and enjoy the beautiful natures of the park. Different types of flora and fauna are available in this national park. Namche to onwards you would get the stunning view of the Khumbu Himalayan Ranges. On this trek, you can see 4 mountains which are above 8000 Meter in Nepal out of 8 Total. They are Cho Oyu (8,201m), Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,516 m) and Everest (8,850m). The cost is based on a 2-person trekking basis. If you are a solo trekker, then the cost for the Everet High pass becomes much higher. You may wonder, why the cost for a single person is high, it is because there are no other trekkers to share the cost of Guides and porters and the solo trekker’s cost becomes higher.
There are different types of cost elements which make costs vary. The cost for the Everest High Pass trek is much higher because of the way the Flights of Guests and Guides. If you want to go with the helicopter and back to Kathmandu with the Helicopter then the cost would go even higher. Everest base camp trek notes
- 360$ is the flight cost of Lukla – Kathmandu – Lukla or Ramechhap – Lukla – Ramechhap
- If case the weather becomes bad and the flight gets cancelled, we will try to arrange the helicopter (sharing one) and the additional cost will be charged
- There will be a high chance of flight delay and even cancel as well.
- We take the porter locally from the Lukla
