The flights to Lukla

The most common factors and the major part of the cost is the transportations to trekking starting points and endpoints which is Lukla. The flight to Lukla is common and hard to find usually when there are pick seasons. The flight cost is 360 $ for Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu. Depending on the situations the flight might be even from the Ramechap which is 3 hours driving from Kathmandu but the prices are the same where trekkers are picked up from the centre of the Kathmandu to Ramecheap.

Everest base camp trek can be even done without Guide but with the Guide is another experience and a very relaxed way. The guides are trained very well and they are aware of the problem that may happen during the Everest trek. Most of the day you will gain around 400-600 Meters which means it is difficult to carry the luggage by yourself that is the reason you should have the porters to carry your baggage. Porters can be taken from the Lukla which means you should not have to pay the flights for the porters but you should give the tips at the end of the trek plus daily wages to them.

On luxury Everest base camp trek you will stay in the most deluxe hotels available in the trek routes.

  • First Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu for the Everest trek
  • Second Day 02: Flight to Lukla airport (2,860m/9,381 feet) from kathmandu then, trek to Bengkar(2,698m/8,822 feet), 5 hours
  • Third Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,249 feet.), Explore the Namche Bazaar in the evening, 6 hours
  • Fourth Day 04: Everest view hotel and Syangeboche hill station hiking to get the best view of Mt Everest and other mountains in the Everest regions.
  • Fifth Day 05: Tengboche trekking from Namche (3,867m/12,645 feet.), 6 hours
  • Sixth Day 06: Dingboche trek (4,260m/13,930 feet.) from Tengboche, 6 hours
  • Seventh Day 07: Dingboche acclimatization and hiking to the Nagarjuna peak 16,000 feets, 4 hours.
  • Eighth Day 08: Lobuche trek (4,930 m/16,121 feet.), 5:30 hours.
  • Ninth Day 09: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,540 feet) then Return to Gorak Shep Lodge (5,140m/16,808 feet) for overnight stay, 7 hours
  • Tenth Day 10: Gorakshep to Kala Patthar hike (5,545m/18,132 feets). Return to Pheriche (4,243m/ 13,917 ft), 9 hours
  • Eleven Day 11: Trek Descend down from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/12,249 feet), 8 hours
  • Twelve Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2,860m/9,381 feet), 8 hours
  • Thirteen Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu
  • Fourteen Day 14: Departures
