Nayapul is 45 km drive from Pokhara, during the drive to Nayapul you will see the magnificent view of Annapurna Panorama Range from Naudanda and Kande. The trek starts from the Nayapul and walking further 30 minutes, you will check in to the Annapurna conservation area (One of the largest national park and conservation area protected from the government), following the river bank you will continue your trek to Tikhedhunga. This is quite easier as the trail does not climb that much. Tikhedhunga is a small village where you can see a mixed settlement of the local people and their traditions and culture. Climbing to Ulleri is the most challenging part of the Annapurna Panorama Trek. Once you reach Ulleri, the magnificent view of Annapurna south can be perfectly seen. Now the trail goes through the bushy forest contained by the plants like rhododendron, Oak, Juniper, Pine and different types of alpine trees. The forest begins from Banthanti and ends at Ghorepani, where you will have a pleasurable walk.
Next day early in the morning you will see the super magnificent view of Annapurna Panorama range mountains in a single row. This includes 2 mountains which are above 8000 Meter (Annapurna and Dhaulagiri) plus many other peaks such as Annapurna south 7219 meters, himchuli and holy mountains of Nepal, Fishtail 6993 Meter. The itinerary below is our standard plan if you need to customize the itinerary we can do it immediately with your interest and requirement. For example, if there is flight cancel that you took then you must take the car or jeep to reach the targeted destinations because the flights depend on the weather as well as if there is road blockade and other circumstances happen we are not able to cover those risk but we will do our best to manage the best for you.
Annapurna panorama trek itinerary
- Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
Arrival at kathmandu and transfer to the hotel and trek preparations and briefing about the trek, you can also hire or rent some necessary equipment as we recommend you.
- Day 02: Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus or fly
If you take the flight, it takes only half an hour to reach the Pokhara. You can start the flight anytime you like from Kathmandu. You can take the guide with flight or you only fly to Pokhara it is up to you. We will make the flight to Pokhara for you easily.
If you take the tourist bus then the guide will come to pick you up in the hotel then together you will drive to Pokhara which takes 8 hours during the drive they often stop for Lunch and breakfast as well as toilets too.
- Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul to then trek to Ulleri
You start your trek today, as early in the morning after heaving the breakfast, you and your team will start the drive to Nayapul which will take the 1.30 Minutes, during the drive you will see the beautiful Himalayan range, you can stop the vehicle and take the photos if you like, the guide will help you to arrange this time for you. Nayapul is the place from where you will start the trek to Annapurna panorama, walking 30 minutes you will reach to birethanti then check in to the national park. After that, you will follow the riverbank trail to reach the Hile. often you have to trek through the road here, having lunch while then you will trek to ulleri and stay overnight here.
- Day 04: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani
Your trekking begins with stairs along the ulleri village. The trails gently climb until banthanti. From Banthanti through the rhododendron forest you will reach to Ghorepani 2875 Metr. You will do lunch in Nangethati which is 1 hour before from Ghorepani. The trail climbs very gently to Ghorepani.
- Day 05: Hike to Poon Hill 3210 Meter early in the morning, then trek to Tadapani
Early in the morning around 4.45 am, you and your guide trek together to Poon Hill (3210m.). You can enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7995m and many other numerous peak the morning then trek down to Ghorepani. We Now take the breakfast then start to climb deurali, you see the same view from here as like Poon Hill. The trail decent down valley then climb to Tadapani finally.
- Day 06: Trek to Ghandruk then drive to pokhara
Today we trek down to ghandruk which takes 3-4 hours to trek. Then we do lunch here in Ghandruk. Ghandruk is also a good place to see the mountain view, Gurung culture and Gurung Museum also. Then we take the jeep to go Pokhara. The jeep takes 3 Hours to reach in Pokhara. Check-in hotel and stay overnight here.
- Day 07: Drive to Kathmandu or fly to Kathmandu
We take the tourist bus to Kathmandu which takes about 6-7 hours.
- Day 08: Departure
We will drop you to the airport.
